XII BARCELONA BLUES FESTIVAL
Throughout these 12 years, we have led the Blues Festival with the intention of being faithful to our concept of culture as a cohesion tool, of solidarity and equality through engagement and active participation of citizens. We have always been against success at any price, in turning creativity into a consumer product, bland and insubstantial. The Blues already in its beginnings was born as a countercultural expression. So, what would be a better way of pay homage to the genre that continue fighting, today, for its recognition as a heritage open to the public? We give new strength to integrated, free and open culture!

In the best tradition of New Orleans Brass Bands, Big Band students from the Barcelona Blues School Workshop will make a musical parade on the Barcelona coastline approaching the American roots music to new places in the city. Concert on the street.
