The Torre Baró castle has always been an emblematic place for the neighbors of Nou Barris. Crowning the Collserola mountain range that covers this part of the north of Barcelona, has been silent witness of the changes that the neighborhood has undergone. Forgotten for decades, it was recently restored to coincide with a growing interest in finding a suitable use to such a special environment.
For us it has always been an inspiration. That is why, when we founded the Capibola Blues Association in 2003, we had no doubts about which image could be better define us: the silhouette of the Castle by the light of the moon. Cutting his figure on the horizon, reminds us that we should not give up our dreams ... and that's why, a couple of years ago, we decided to establish it as the official site of the closing of the Festival. There we can, on Sunday 16th , enjoy the best music in a space incomparable with the vision of Barcelona at our feet to bid farewell to this special fifteenth edition!
