On Saturday July 8 at 11 am we will inaugurate what will be the book launch of the book "40 years of blues in Barcelona".
We will have the performance of the blues man Kodjo Senyo and the intervention of the journalist Manolo Poy.
Joan Linux, An acclaimed photographer of the Festival, he had the idea of compiling images of all the "agents" who have participated, in some way, in the making of the blues scene in Barcelona over the last 40 years.
A megalithic project, difficult and around the blues? We could not say no, even more with all that we owe toJoan Linux. That's why, within the programming of the Barcelona Blues Festival, we will exhibit "Preses Falses" a preview in the form of fake shots of the book that will be released soon.
The exhibition "Presas Falses", which will take place at the Casa del Aigua in Trinitat Nova, will consist of about 20 portraits at 70x50cm, and the projection of many more that for space will not be exhibited.
Additionally, for the opening on July 8 at 11 am, we will have the bluesman and neighbor of Nou barris Kodjo Senyo, who is one of the protagonists of the book, and Manolo Poy, journalist responsible for the texts of the book.
Note the time! It's not a mistake, we will do a morning schedule so it can be a family party!
